 GRAHAM SHEPHERD (NZMBA)  Graham has a vast experience in various senior
 management positions within the finance sector.  He is the principal of a number of
 finance brokerages.  When it comes to the placement of project finance, commercial
 developments from Resorts to single office blocks and hotels, energy or real estate
 based finance then you have a great asset on your side.

 Over many years, Graham ,on behalf of the OLC ,has built solid relationships with
 some of the worlds leading financial resources and private investors.

 Graham's philosophy is,"If a project has merit then we will do all we can to fund it".

 
 

OPERATIONAL STRATEGY
The offshore Loan Centre concentrates on two core strategic areas:

 

1 - Finance Brokerage   Using a wealth of contacts we know we have the resource to finance
 but the hard part is finding projects with enough merit to submit.

 Our usual procedure is to request an Executive Summary and  a 
 Comprehensive Business Plan.  The executive summary will tell us
 what the client wants to achieve and the business plan will show us
 how they are going to do it.

 We have 2 choices, we can either work our way through volumes of
 submissions each week from clients who have nothing behind them
 but a computer and time to write business plans, in the hope that one
 day they will strike it lucky or we can be selective and this is our
 chosen strategy

 If you think your project is good enough then you will put your
 money up.  We require an application fee for all submissions apart
 from Hard Money, it is only USD$10,000 but this very small amount
 will show us who is serious and who is fishing.

 The fee pays for out time in reviewing and often guiding the 
 development of a comprehensive business plan, one on which a  
 lending call can be made.  Our main income as such is from closing
 fees which are paid on draw-down of the first amount of funds from
 the lender, be it equity or debt funding or a mix.
 

2 -Best Effort Investment Banking  Using our relationships with private investors, funders and global
 investment bankers we again have access to considerable resources.
 Where we have existing operations looking to expand, or
 experienced management teams with track records we can forward
 the Teasers to one of the worlds leading investment bankers.

 For developments needing high levels of loan to security value
 specialist funding etc  we forward the teaser to our private
 investor/funder groups.

 Again we charge a $10,000 application fee to identify the serious
 applicants and cover our review time.

 Clients looking to purchase S&P AA rated new issue MTN's can do so
 through our associated registered securities officer. Clients looking
 for Plain Vanilla who can prove up, can also have appointments
 arranged with Merril Lynch in London or Geneva to negotiate terms.
